Santorum Up 18 Points in Ohio

Rick Santorum has an 18 point lead on Mitt Romney in Ohio. The latest Rasmussen poll shows Santorum at 42 percent to Romney's 24 percent. Newt Gingrich pulls 13 percent while Ron Paul gets 10 percent. One wonders if the Romney camp has run out of brains in Michigan. Romney who has struggled to connect with blue collar workers now is attempting to connect by espousing a right to work law. Right to work is a contentious issue both in the Republican Party and the Tea Party. Yes, some Tea Party bloggers, maybe a majority hold a right to work opinion and a case can be made for it but one wonders if clumsy Mitt Romney is the man to make that case. Santorum has walked that tightrope for years in both the Congress and the Senate and as Romney may soon find it's not something amateurs should try.
